One Health in Islamic Perspective – Public Lecture

This public lecture explores how Islamic teachings align with the One Health approach to protect human health, animal health, and the environment as one interconnected system. The session highlights the role of faith in promoting prevention, environmental stewardship, and sustainable living.

The lecture was delivered by Sheikh Dr. Cabdi Fataax Xasan Shimbirow as part of a free webinar organized by ARACHTI (Abrar Research and Training Centre) in collaboration with Somali National University. The event was conducted in the Somali language and brought together community members, students, and professionals to discuss faith-based solutions for health and planetary well-being.
