Prof. Mor is an interdisciplinary epidemiologist and a global leader in advancing practical One Health approaches across Africa. She is Professor at the University of Liverpool and holds a joint appointment with the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI), with over 15 years of operational experience strengthening One Health capacity and health security in the Horn of Africa. She leads major regional initiatives addressing zoonotic diseases, febrile illness, and integrated human–animal–environment health systems across Ethiopia, Kenya, and Somalia. Her work focuses on translating One Health frameworks into real-world implementation in pastoral and resource-limited settings. Her expertise strongly supports the SOHC 2026 theme — 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗠𝗥 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮 — particularly in regional collaboration, zoonotic disease control, and health system integration.
